WIT Russia organized “Ways to IT” meetup in Saint Petersburg on February 8, 2020. 150 people gathered together to get a jumpstart in their career and advice from speakers and mentors in IT. The focus of the event was on helping beginners overcome initial hurdles in starting their journey in technologies. The program contained presentations from exciting speakers, breakout sessions with mentors covered different spheres such as QA-testing, programming, data science, startups, project management and so on. This event dispelled confusion women might have about their future in technology. After “Ways to IT” participants got a roadmap on how to enter the industry and succeed in it.
