Vera is an entrepreneur, angel investor, an LP in a VC Fund in Africa, and an international speaker and moderator. Vera has been in the UAE for almost a decade, building entrepreneurial ecosystems. Initially as a founder herself and the only female founder for Rocket Internet in the Middle East, then as an ecosystem builder with the Dubai Government, as part of the core team for the Dubai Future Accelerators which became the hub for the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Dubai and after that as a VC launching the first international accelerator in Saudi Arabia with 500Global, one of the leading Venture Capital firms.

She is currently building a private community for female leaders while also being a mentor with the Dubai Leadership Program and board member in a few curated companies. Vera is part of the Expert Group on Digital Platforms and Ecosystems for the World Economic Forum, an Innovation Expert at the UN, and a Responsible Leader at the BMW Foundation.

Vera is a Venture Partner with the Founder Institute and their Advisor for the GCC. She sits on the advisory board of the IBM accelerator and is a mentor with Techstars, Respond (BMW accelerator), e7 (local female Emirati accelerator), and many other global accelerators and incubators. Vera has lived in 10 countries and is fluent in five languages.
