Women in Tech South Africa

Women in Tech South Africa officially launched in April 2020, with the dual mission: To help close the gender gap in tecnology and to help more women and girls embrace STEM fields when choosing a field of study or career path.
We are a registered non profit organization and pride ourselves in taking action and working toward the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which include: Education, Entrepreneurialism, Science and Innovation, Social Inclusion and of course, Diversity and Equlity in the work place. We do this by creating various programmes, workshops, virtual and physical events, hackathons, bursaries, pitching events, inspirational fire-side chats, and networking opportunities.
We connect students, businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, corporate and professional women, mentees and mentors, to create an ecosystem to achieve a common goal of empowerment, upliftment, education, career development, whilst creating a supportive global community within Tech!
