The prestigious Women in Tech® Europe Awards 2024, held on October 1st, 2024, marked a significant milestone in recognizing and celebrating women’s achievements in the technology sector. The ceremony, which took place in Brussels, brought together industry leaders, innovators, and changemakers from across Europe, highlighting the growing influence of women in shaping the future of technology.
Opening Ceremony and Welcome
The evening commenced with a spectacular welcome reception and networking cocktail, setting the stage for an inspiring celebration of excellence in technology. Ayumi Moore Aoki, President of Women in Tech® Global, alongside Zineb Bensaid and Laurent MARLIERE, opened the ceremony with a powerful welcome message that set the tone for the evening’s celebrations.

Among the speakers were Eva Faict, Country Manager for Belgium at Amazon, Jan Demey and Yasmine Syed from HICT, Ayumi Moore Aoki, President of Women in Tech® Global, Zineb Bensaid, and Laurent Marlière.
