Leyla Seyidzade possesses over 15 years of inter-sectoral professional experience, showcasing versatility in her career. She commenced her professional journey with a world-class FMCG company, specializing in Communications. Over the years, she broadened her expertise by transitioning into general management and consultancy, eventually expanding her focus to innovations and digital development. During her six-year tenure as the External Relations Manager at Procter & Gamble, Leyla played a pivotal role in shaping external communication strategies. Following this, she ventured into Consulting and Entrepreneurship for three years. In this capacity, she developed communication strategies and policies for public and private institutions. She co-founded STEM courses for children and successfully raised investment for a social impact blockchain platform. Leyla Seyidzade’s career trajectory also includes her role as the Head of Exploration at UNDP Accelerator Labs, where she contributes to building the world’s largest and fastest learning network around development challenges. Her key focus areas include the Digital Economy (e-commerce, access to digital services, startup ecosystem), Blockchain-based solutions (youth engagement, agriculture, and beyond), Women Empowerment (women in STEM, women entrepreneurship support), and Skills of the Future (digital development, digital transformation). She serves as the Ambassador for Azerbaijan in the WOMEN IN TECH Global Movement and holds the position of Innovation Consultant at UNDP on a part-time basis. Leyla is regularly invited to speak at events, focusing on areas such as women in STEM, innovation for social good, and skills for the future.
