Announcing the 7th Women in Tech® Global Awards and Regional Awards
We are thrilled to announce the 7th edition of the Women in Tech® Global Awards, the foremost global event recognizing the outstanding achievements of women in technology and innovation. This premier awards ceremony celebrates the incredible contributions of women, initiatives, and allies making significant impacts in the tech industry.
Global and Regional Awards: Celebrating Excellence Worldwide
For the third year, we are excited to present not only the Global Awards but also seven Regional Awards, acknowledging exceptional talents and efforts across different regions of the world. The preliminary awards will be held in the following regions:
- LATAM (Latin America)
- Europe
- Africa
- North America
- APAC (Asia-Pacific)
- Caucasus & Central Asia
- MENA (Middle East & North Africa)
These regional awards will spotlight the leaders, innovators, and change-makers within each region, culminating in a grand finale at the COP29 summit, where winners from each region will compete for the Global Award Finals.
Award Categories
The Women in Tech® Global Awards will recognize achievements in nine distinct categories:
- Aspiring Teen Award: Celebrating young women who are showing early promise in the tech field.
- Most Disruptive Award: Honoring women who are driving innovative and groundbreaking changes in technology.
- Best Ally Award: Recognizing individuals or organizations that have shown exceptional support for women in tech.
- Most Impactful Initiative Award: Celebrating initiatives that have significantly advanced women’s participation in technology.
- Woman in Web3 Award: Honoring women making remarkable contributions in the Web3 space.
- Tech Diplomacy Award: Recognizing efforts in using technology to foster international cooperation and diplomacy.
- Greentech Start-up Award: Celebrating start-ups led by women that are making significant contributions to environmental sustainability through technology.
- Global Leadership Award: Recognizing outstanding leadership and achievements by women in the global tech industry.
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Honoring women who have dedicated their careers to advancing technology and have made a lasting impact on the industry.
