We are happy to announce that Women in Tech has successfully launched in Russia!

On the 12th of December seven empowering speakers spoke to an audience of more than 200 motivated attendees.

The founder and president of Women in Tech Ayumi Moore Aoki came to Saint Petersburg to open the Russian chapter and gave an inspiring speech about the WiT global movement.

Our #WomeninTech Ambassador Elina Valeeva shared with the audience her networking tools that in particular helped to bring WiT to Russia and to organize the event.

It was a pleasure to host such outstanding speakers:
• Anna Kulashova, who shared her personal story about female leadership in IT,
• Alena Suvorova, who talked about the opportunities and challenges of Data Science,
• Polina Vasilenko, who gave valuable pieces of advice on startup building,
• Olga Telezhnaya, who shared about her journey from linguistics to programming,
• Leysen Shayakhmetova, who gave a speech about ways to have a successful job interviewing process.

We would also like to say an enormous thank you to our partners – the HSE University, Jet Brains and Microsoft Russia that made this all possible.
